Nursery: (3-4 years old)

To enter our Nursery program, children must turn 3 years of age by September 1st. They must also be “Potty trained” to be able to attend Nursery. Our nursery program concentrates both its Judaic and Secular studies in the morning. The afternoon incorporates a more relaxed curriculum of open-ended art projects, movement, additional storytelling and PE. Both curriculums are taught through our monthly themes. Within each theme, we introduce ABC, aleph-bet, pre-reading, pre-math, science, social studies, art, music and dramatic play. In addition, the love of Torah, Mitzvot, Middot, Berachot, Teffilot, the Chagim, Rosh Chodesh and Shabbat are incorporated throughout the day. We work with the “whole child”, utilizing hands on activities. Puzzles, cutting, coloring and age appropriate manipulative help their children develop their fine motor skills. Movement, dancing and outdoor play, develop their gross-motor skills. Social, emotional and problem-solving skills are reinforced daily.
